Lisa Johansson-Pape Faux Leather Wrapped Floor Lamp, 1951 - SOLD!

Unique and rare, this brass floor lamp has a beautiful golden patina and an exquisite bent shape.  Black faux leather wrapping along the stem gives this piece its signature look, along with the bonnet-style silk shade (new).  I adore this lamp, it elevates any space it adorns.

Lisa-Johansson-Pape (b. 1907 d. 1989): One of Finland's most innovative lighting designers, using war-time rations she mixed materials and created shapes that brought her designs worldwide fame. "A lamp is not the actual purpose, but more like an instrument.
