Designed by Erik Lundberg for Vävaregården in Eringsboda, Sweden, this vintage wool Rollakan rug is one of the workshop's most graphic and recognizable designs. Named "Korall Brun" (Brown Coral), you can see how nature makes its way into the pattern of the rug, evoking a feeling rather than a literal image. Lundberg was known for bringing a distinctly modern sensibility to Swedish weaving, creating bold geometric compositions that balanced traditional craftsmanship with the clean lines and abstract forms.
Good vintage condition with no damage, and the original tassels are imperfectly intact.
