Arne Jacobsen Brass “Cylinda-line” Ashtray, 1967

Designed in 1964, and manufactured by Stelton in 1967. I do love an ashtray that hides the butts, and this one does so with grace. The top spins! Very rare to see this design in solid brass  - this version was only produced for a very short period in a limited edition. Amazing golden patina, with a touch of verdigris in the dish. Can be polished if you prefer it to shine. Smoke like a superstar!

At that time in the 60s, there was no experience with this cylindrical production method.
