Antti Hakkarainen Indoor/Outdoor Wrought Iron Table - 1930s
Antti Hakkarainen Indoor/Outdoor Wrought Iron Table - 1930s
Incredibly rare and amazing table was designed by Antti Hakkarainen for Taidetakomo A. Hakkarainen in the 1930s. Handpainted tiles adorn the tabletop with pink and yellow flowers, and the glorious ironwork is a fantastic example of Antti's unparalleled craftsmanship. The gallery sides are elegantly designed with loop-de-loops, and he manipulated the iron into a twisted rope-like form that is absolutely fabulous. Beautiful patina, one cracked tile simply adds to its charm. Truly historic work of functional art.
