Itsu Brass Wall Pendant with Perforated Aluminum Shade
Itsu Brass Wall Pendant with Perforated Aluminum Shade
Painted aluminum shade and brass wall mount, this light is incredibly unique and in fantastic condition - barely a scratch. Reminiscent of Paavo Tynell, this lamp was made by Itsu in the mid-1950s. It doesn't get much better! I do love a wall lamp, and an adjustable wall pendant is so perfectly Scandinavian, absolutely functional yet full of beauty - Finnish lighting design wins the day. Medium Base bulb.Adjustable depth.
23" H x 34" D x Shade diameter 13"
Itsu is short for Itä-Suomen Sähkö, the Eastern Finland Electricity company. The company was founded in 1945, after World War II, and bought by Idman OY in 1961. Much of Itsu’s production had a resemblance to works by Paavo Tynell and Tapio Wirkkala - both of whom worked for Idman OY.
