Extremely rare & important tapered leg end table made by William Watting in the 1940s. Top with two handles, ends with pull-out leaves with removable brass ashtrays. Fantastic nutwood grain, and the detailing is just perfect - from the radius edges, to the dark stained "shoes," this is a fine example of the impeccable craftsmanship and unique forms he is known for worldwide.
